[ Say you've got a few colourful roses to get rid of. It's supposed to be a romantic gesture, probably, but Sharrkan doesn't know any cute girls to pass them onto and he doesn't know too many guys either! But he knows Yuri well enough. Yuri likes swords so he can't be all bad, and he'll understand if Sharrkan has to get rid of these things to get his sword back. There shouldn't be any awkward misunderstandings. ]

Yuri, are ya in there?

[ He raps his knuckles against 1419's door. A little too rough because he's not used to, uh, manners. ]

It's Sharrkan, lemme in!

[Yuri had just been in the middle of making lunch, he had just finished cutting up some vegetables so he wasn't too terribly involved with anything at the moment.]

Yeah yeah, I could recognize ya by the voice! [He quickly washed of his hands before going to answer the door, he might not as been the most polite either, but at least he was fairly mindful of his hygiene!

He quickly dried off his hands as he went over to open the door to the other swordsmen, letting him step inside the house.]

What brings you on over to my crib place today?

[ Making lunch and knowing how to use a sword? Consider Yuri bumped up once more spot in Sharrkan's book. They really did have more in common than being trapped in a weird world totally unlike their own, and he'd have to get to know the guy a little better. What better way to do that than give him a stupid rose? ]

Y'know those four colourful roses we got the other day? I've got one left.

[ He whips one out from...wait. Is that a homemade sword sheath on his belt? It is! Man, Sharrkan. You really do need to get a life. Anyway! The rose is lavender and he's holding it out to Yuri with all the romance of a flower vase. ]

Thought it'd be easier to give to someone I knew a bit about, rather than a total stranger.

[What a good coincidence! Yuri just so happens to have a rose of his own left to give, so Yuri is relieved Sharrkan came over because he had been stuck on figuring out who to give the last one too anyways.]

No problem with you givin' me one if you'll take my last one off of my hands. I got a blue one, I'll get it from the living room in a little bit. Since ya came all the way over here you wanna stay to eat while you're at it?

[Yuri had made more than enough, and he didn't see any harm in having Sharrkan have some of his meal since he was over anyways. Might as well try out this whole friendship bonding thing while he was stuck in this place anyways.]

[ So coincidental it might well've been planned out ahead of time! No way that could happen. These guys're on the same wavelength, that's all. Put it down to their swordsmen spirits. ]

Sure, no reason why not. Better than going out into the cold so soon, at least, and it's not every day a guy scores a free meal in exchange for a little lavender flower.

[ That's not only a yes, but it's not too true either. He got a meal out of another one of his roses too. Good times with unintentional mooching. ]

[Great swordsmen think alike, clearly! Better than people who didn't have a sword!]

Tell me about it, 'sides, there's nothing better than a hot meal when it's cold out there like it is right now. Fills you right up and keeps you warm. Just take a seat right over there [he points to the table that had already been set up with placemats] and I shouldn't take much longer. You alright with some beef curry?

[As he was talking. he went back to checking on the pot of food, stirring ever so often to make sure everything looked alright. ]

[ Before he makes his way over to the table, Sharrkan peers over Yuri's shoulder to get a good look at what's cookin'. Since you can't go wrong with a classic beef curry, he's looking out of curiosity and nothing more. His mind is already made up. The smell of a homemade meal only sealed the deal. ]

Sounds good, smells good, let's hope it tastes good too. [ And he sets himself down in a chair. ] You got any booze to go along with it?

[ Don't ask, don't get. And there isn't a trace of shame in his question. ]

You got nothin' to worry about. I'm a pretty good chef if I do say so myself! [He takes out two large bowls from the cupboard, if he was going to eat, he was going to make sure he got his fill!

His food selection at home wasn't always the best or most plentiful, so he was thankful for the copious amount he got here.

He spoons out a good, large serving of the curry with some rice to go along with it. With a bowl of the steaming and fragrant food in each hand, he walks over to the table to set them both down.]

Booze? 'Fraid we're going to have to go without, we ran out last night and we haven't had much of a chance yet to go get some more.

[ Sharrkan manages not to sigh in disappointment thanks to the generous helping of food set down in front of him. Usually a free meal is made up of whatever spare stuff the provider has kicking around. He definitely scored the jackpot here, with or without some nice cold sake. ]

How many people do you live with?

[ Don't mind the way he talks with his mouth kinda full. It's a sign of appreciation and nothing more! Ah, well, appreciation and a little glimpse into his lack of manners. At least he swallows before he speaks up again. ]

It's just two kids back at my place - but I never see much of one, and the other never sees much of me.

I live with...[ He takes a moment to think about it, with people coming and going all the time it was hard to keep track! Still, after a few moments he manages to remember. ]

I live with another guy here and he's pretty cool, cooks just as well and doesn't nag so it's a pretty big bonus! There used to be two kids here but one of them left awhile ago, don't ever really see much of the other to be honest.

[ Unconsciously mimicking Sharrkan, he stuffs his face with a few mouthfuls of food before he starts talking again. ]

Ya know, as weird as this whole place and situation is, it ain't all that bad if you ask me!
